Antique Frog Shakudo Pendant Mounted in 14k Rose Gold

Shakudo is a Japanese mixed metal technique that involved an alloy of copper and gold that was treated to give it a dark black patina.

We created this whimsical pendant by mounting an antique shakudo cufflink in 14k rose gold. The piece features a mixed metal scene of two frogs near a rickshaw.

The piece measures 1.3 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 1 inch wide, and it is in very good condition with light surface wear. We are providing the option to purchase the pendant with or without the 19 inch, 9ct gold chain depicted in the photos.
